Baltistan is divided into five major beautiful valleys viz Skardu, Khaplu, Roundu, Shigar, Kharmang, and Gultari. Gultari valley is situated on the south east sides of Deosai plateau.

The classical dances are displayed on various occasions in Baltistan, especially on Noros festival, Polo match and marriage ceremony. The tune played for traditional dances other then Harib are allied Htse-kar. This tune is considered of the following classical, semi-classical and non-classical genrasi. The dances are classified into sword dance, Bronchus and daned on Ghazal are chogho parsul, Gashopa, manthoq Hjtannmo. Sinopa as well as Jingraches, kashalpa. Thenkar, Broqchos, Fotong kar, Churkapa, Hlimakar and Ghazal danced are Maqponi fotionkar.

Terms

The origin terms of Harib was tied to current events of any particular time, and the condition for annotating pieces varied from successful escapade of hunting remembrance of tours to other places, fends between clans and such like, particularly in the case of folk songs. Other tunes were generic and toll irked to set occasion like the personal activities of the rulers, when he left the palace, when he napped, whenever he travel, departure and arrival on special festival, Chilaho tune is played. When the royal bride is taken out from he place with certain special occasion. Lamsna is a tune played when Raja goes out in precession. Bam is a war tune, but these tune and music, now came to an end in Baltistan.
