The old poetry in Baltistan is locally called Rgyong-khylu, which is a classical folk songs. Some of prominent folk songs Areshigkan kofa, Lingspa-razoo, Stoghi yato, Landg Dukpa and Biana naqpo etc.

Dances
Dances
The classical dances are displayed on various
occasions in Baltistan, especially on Noros festival, Polo match and marriage
ceremony. The tune played for traditional dances other then Harib are allied
Htse-kar. This tune is considered of the following classical, semi-classical
and non-classical genrasi. The dances are classified into sword dance, Bronchus
and daned on Ghazal are chogho parsul, Gashopa, manthoq Hjtannmo. Sinopa as
well as Jingraches, kashalpa. Thenkar, Broqchos, Fotong kar, Churkapa, Hlimakar
and Ghazal danced are Maqponi fotionkar.
